Manage Hundreds of Bookmarks at Once with Batch Operations

If you've ever needed to reorganize a large bookmark collection, you know the pain of editing bookmarks one by one. Moving 50 bookmarks to a new folder, tagging an entire category, or cleaning out old links takes forever when you're doing it individually.

Today we're introducing Batch Operations — select multiple bookmarks and act on them all at once.

How It Works

Click the Select button in any bookmark list view. Checkboxes appear next to every bookmark. Pick the ones you want (or click Select All to grab everything in the current view), then choose an action from the toolbar.

Six batch actions are available:

  • Move — Move selected bookmarks to a different folder. A dialog lets you pick the destination folder from your full tree.
  • Tag — Add or remove keywords across all selected bookmarks at once. Great for applying a new tag to a group of related links.
  • Rate — Set a star rating (1-5) on all selected bookmarks. Useful for bulk-rating imported bookmarks you know are high quality.
  • Favorite — Mark all selected bookmarks as favorites in one click, or unfavorite them.
  • Reminder — Set a reminder on all selected bookmarks. Choose from preset intervals (tomorrow, next week, next month) to revisit them later.
  • Delete — Remove selected bookmarks with a single confirmation. No more clicking delete on each one individually.

Select All

The Select All checkbox at the top selects every bookmark in the current view. Combined with folder navigation, this makes it easy to operate on an entire folder at once — select all in "Old Links", then move them to "Archive", or delete them entirely.

Use Cases

Here are some ways batch operations can save you time:

Spring cleaning — Switch to the "All Bookmarks" view, select bookmarks you no longer need, and delete them in one go.

Reorganizing folders — Created a new folder structure? Select all bookmarks in an old folder and move them to the right place.

Tagging after import — Just imported hundreds of bookmarks from another browser? Select groups and add keywords so they're searchable later.

Rating your favorites — Go through your Favorites view, select all, and give them 5 stars so they show up in Top Rated.

Setting reminders — Have a list of articles to read this week? Select them all and set a reminder for next Saturday.

Available on All Plans

Batch operations are available on Basic, Plus, and Premium plans. There's no limit on how many bookmarks you can select or how many actions you can perform.
