Getting Started

Up and running with LinkaGoGo in minutes.

1. Create an Account

  1. Visit linkagogo.com.
  2. Click Start Free Trial.
  3. Fill in your name, email address, and a password.
  4. Choose a plan — Basic, Plus, or Premium. No credit card required.
  5. Your 7-day free trial starts immediately. You can upgrade anytime.

2. Explore the Dashboard

After signing up, you'll land on your Dashboard. It gives you a quick overview of your bookmark collection — recent bookmarks, most visited, favorites, and more. You can always get back to it by clicking Dashboard in the sidebar.

Tip: Add LinkaGoGo to your browser's bookmarks toolbar for quick access. Right-click the address bar and choose Bookmark This Page, or press Ctrl+D (Cmd+D on Mac).

Don't see your bookmarks toolbar?
  • Chrome — Press Ctrl+Shift+B (Cmd+Shift+B on Mac), or go to Menu > Bookmarks > Show Bookmarks Bar.
  • Firefox — Press Ctrl+Shift+B (Cmd+Shift+B on Mac), or go to Menu > Bookmarks > Bookmarks Toolbar > Always Show.
  • Safari — Go to View > Show Favorites Bar, or press Cmd+Shift+B.
  • Edge — Press Ctrl+Shift+B, or go to Menu > Favorites > Show Favorites Bar.

3. Add a Bookmark

  1. Click the + button in the toolbar at the top of the page.
  2. Paste or type the URL you want to save.
  3. Give it a title (or let LinkaGoGo fill it in automatically).
  4. Optionally add keywords, comments, or assign it to a folder.
  5. Click Save.

4. Install the Browser Extension

The easiest way to save bookmarks is with the LinkaGoGo browser extension. Click the extension icon on any page to save it instantly — with title, keywords, and folder selection.

5. Or Use the Bookmarklet

If you prefer not to install an extension, you can use the bookmarklet instead:

  1. Open the Tools page from your user menu in the top-right corner.
  2. Find the "Save to LinkaGoGo" button.
  3. Drag it to your browser's bookmarks bar.
  4. Now, whenever you're on a page you want to save, click the bookmarklet — the page is saved to LinkaGoGo instantly.

6. Create a Folder

  1. In the sidebar, click the + icon next to "Folders."
  2. Enter a name for your new folder.
  3. Press Enter or click Save.
  4. Your folder appears in the sidebar, ready to hold bookmarks.

7. Add a Bookmark to a Folder

  1. When adding or editing a bookmark, look for the Folder dropdown.
  2. Select the folder you want to file the bookmark in.
  3. Click Save. The bookmark now appears inside that folder.

8. Mark a Bookmark as Favorite

  1. Find the bookmark in your list.
  2. Click the star icon next to the bookmark's title.
  3. The star turns solid, and the bookmark appears in your Favorites dashboard card.

9. Rate a Bookmark

(Plus+ plan required)

  1. Open a bookmark and click Edit.
  2. Use the star rating control to set a rating from 1 to 5 stars.
  3. Click Save. You can now sort and filter bookmarks by rating.

10. Set a Reminder

(Plus+ plan required)

  1. Open a bookmark and click Edit.
  2. In the Reminder section, choose a frequency: daily, weekly, or monthly.
  3. Click Save. Reminders will appear in your dashboard.

11. Use the API or AI Integration

(Plus+ plan required)

  1. Go to Account > API Keys and generate a key.
  2. Use the REST API to build scripts and automations.
  3. Or connect an AI assistant — Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, or VS Code Copilot — to manage bookmarks conversationally.
