  • chevy distributor? - my rotor button exploded in my truck i thought i got it all out then i ran it and about 6 grand my truck would pop so i took my distributor out turned upside down and the metal piece fell out and it still pops for some reason do you think it messed up the distributor i ran it through 2 different times at the mud bog so not for sure if that metal piece messed it up its a brand new distributor and the metal piece was the piece inside the rotor button replace it all,... Took both trucks in tandem to pull him out at Sabine River Rats near Marshall, Texas - 2/5/11.   • Has anyone put super swampers on a dodge dakota? - Im thinking of putting super swampers on my 91 dodge dakota. I currently have 235/75r15 all country on it right now. I was thinking of putting a 215/85r15 TSL Radial super swampers on it. I wanted to go slightly smaller so it didn't bog down the engine while spinning in the mud and pulling people out of trouble spots.   • How much horsepower did the stock Ford 351M have? - I have a 1979 F150 with a 9" lift and 38" tires that I use for mud bogging. I've been wondering lately how much horsepower that motor actually had when it was stock?   • I think i broke my the camshaft on my friend's truck.? - Me and my friend were bogging his 95 GMC 1500 with a stock lift when we got stuck. The mud didn't even cover half the wheel. I gunned it to get out and didn't realize we were in 4x4 low. We burnt up all the oil in the engine and then the damn thing sputtered out and died after making a grinding and a whistling noise. Linger Run is a great location in the West Virginia hills near Weston. The farm has a nice hill side for the large amount of spectators who showed up to watch the challenging mud pit.   • Mud Bogging Truck Night Yankee Lake 5-6-11 - Hillbilly Proud made it to Truck Night at Yankee Lake in Brookfield, OH for the first time on May 6, 2011. Truck Night was a blast and Yankee Lake is pretty awesome. The mudding park is open every Friday through the summer and some Saturdays. The speed pits were ran very well.   • why does my truck run like this in mud? - when i dump into a mud hole it revs high, then bogs down, then revs high then bogs down...even with a steady foot on the gas it bogs down like that...i figured water is getting in the intake somehow or the ignition is getting wet...any answers or help would be greatly apreciated water is not getting in the intake, if it was it will kill your truck. water does not compress. this means if it gets inside the motor it will lock it up, and if the motor is revving hard it will blow up the motor with some expensive... To the point where I can hear coolant boiling, and it lets a lot of fluid go through the overflow when stopped. Also truck runs like crap now, it's bogging in every gear. I read somewhere that this may mean bad head gasket, but if it was that, then the oil would be milky. I pulled the dip stick multiple times and the oil looks normal.
